Hot Honey Rosé Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 300 g (about 10 oz) cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped

  • ¾ cup tomato passata or crushed tomatoes

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

  • 1–2 tbsp Gino’s Hot Honey 🔥

  • Salt & freshly cracked black pepper

  • Optional: chili flakes or a splash of dry rosé wine

  • Fresh basil or parsley, to finish

Instructions

Cook the tortellini:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.

Sauté the aromatics:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and shallot and sauté until soft and fragrant.

Build the base:
Stir in tomato passata and simmer for about 5 minutes.
(Optional: deglaze with a splash of dry rosé wine for extra depth.)

Create the rosé sauce:
Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the sauce turns a soft pink.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Add the heat:
Mix in Gino’s Hot Honey, starting with 1 tbsp and adjusting to taste.
Add chili flakes if using.

Finish the sauce:
Stir in parmesan and season with salt and pepper.

Toss & serve:
Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss until well coated.

Garnish with fresh herbs and finish with a final drizzle of Gino’s Hot Honey 🍝🌶️✨
